SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Participate in incident investigations and reports. Assist investigations to determine the root cause of such incident. Develop effective actions to prevent reoccurrence

• Maintain A&A’s emergency preparedness plan and provide support for A&A’s Emergency Response Team.
• Review documentation to ensure all required onsite records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.
• Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improved morale.
• Create a working atmosphere that promotes openness and a high level of safety enthusiasm and morale in the Job sites.
• Responsible for the implementation of the company safety program.
• Maintain compliance with permits, government regulations and other industry practices.
• Accompany safety, health and insurance inspectors on walk through inspections.
• Keep abreast of any safety laws or regulation changes that impact the organization.
• Follow company safety and health guidelines and other company policies.
• Ability to climb straight ladders.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical requirements – bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50lbs.
• Confined space entry may be required.
• Wearing a respirator when/where required to performing inspections/job duties.
• Noise levels may require hearing protection.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to gather and evaluate information.
• Ability to use personal computer software for word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
